Mechanical development and construction

Concept development is a phase in which a system’s fundamental ideas are developed as a basis for a solution-based whole. This phase exists in all development projects. Tech Invent offers assistance for this phase as a stand-alone performance and the result is a report, that brings together the ideas for a well-considered proposal for the further development process. This report is valuable to decision makers and it ensures that projects run optimally.

In the concept development phase Tech Invent use modern and practical tools such as 3D printing, tests, high speed video recordings virtual reality for more methodical tools such as motion simulation, CAD, FEM, CFD, Mathcad, VisSim, Excel and Visual Basic. Sometimes logical reasoning, principal sketches and illustrations are enough to prove, that the concept brings the project safely to the goal.

It is important that the working environment and the unity of the concept development group are good, because this discipline requires different key competences. The concept development phase requires a sense of creativity, quality, comparison, selection, systematics and overall understanding.

Concept development is used as a sub-phase in all project development services from Tech Invent. Mechanical development and construction is one of the company’s core competencies. Our employees are all engineers with mechanical engineering background and many years of experience within the field. Our customers can therefore expect a highly competent collaboration, when it comes to engineering disciplines related to mechanical development and construction. In addition, we have a large network within machine technology, and we cooperate with knowledge-intensive professional specialists, the university and other engineering companies.

We perform calculations according to valid standards. Development and construction are performed in accordance with applicable directives. In addition, we have expertise in dynamic simulation of mechanical systems including determination of angular speeds, angular accelerations, curve paths, power reactions, etc.
Our employees have experience with the following 3D CAD systems:

  • SolidWorks
  • Autodesk Inventor
  • Pro/ENGINEER
  • NX (Unigraphics)
  • CATIA
