Reduce financial expenses with analytical calculation

The prerequisites in the analytical calculations are often made according to cargo standards from e.g. ISO, Eurocode, Danish Standard (DS), ASME (USA) or international standards. Tech Invent performs calculations in many contexts – for example in connection with rigging, where it must be ensured that the strength is sufficient on bolts, welds, chains or wires that fasten the load to e.g. a truck or a ship’s deck. The task can also be about developing a formula set or analytical model structure that fits the task and thus describes the current processes. We use MathCad, VisSim, and Excel (Visual Basic) to perform thermodynamic calculations, mechanical calculations, and to generate dynamic load data in connection with Finite Element Analysis.

What do you get?

At Tech Invent, we estimate from task to task whether a FEM or a CFD simulation is required. Often it makes sense; in other cases it is faster and sufficient to make an analytical calculation in e.g. MATHCAD or MATLAB.

Tech inspiration

Focus area: Mathematical models There are many economic benefits by making a mathematical model:
  • The number of prototypes and tests can be reduced or otherwise saved completely
  • Lifetime of the product and service periods can be optimised (predictive maintenance)
  • A mathematically developed model means that the theory of the task is understood, which can result in exact results and a knowledge on which one can steadily build
  • Tolerance chains
Tech Invent is up to date on the future use of mathematical models rather than prototypes – in line with the next industrial revolution: Industry 4.0
